Reschedule / Refund Policy

If you are unable to make the training, please notify Florida Heartsaver by email (class@floridaheartsave.org) or leave a message to (352) 575-0119 no shorter than 2 days before your scheduled training. For example, if your training is scheduled on Friday and you cannot make it, notify us by Wednesday midnight. In this case, your paid fee will be refunded after a $5 processing fee is deducted from your payment. You may reschedule at any other set course date if available with no charge.


If you registered for a training class and fail to show up or notify us shorter than 2 days before the training or after the training, you may attend another class for a $20 rescheduling fee. If you opt the fee refunded, there will be $15 class prep fee and processing fee deducted before the refund.

Cancellation Policy

Florida Heartsaver has the right to cancel any course at any time. Cancelled classes by Florida Heartsaver will issue a full refund to registered students unless there are no substitute classes. There is no additional fee for rescheduling.

Certification issue date

Certifications are typically mailed out within 2 weeks from our course completion date due to center policy. American Heart Association training centers are allowed up to 30 days to deliver the certifications. If you need a proof of completion, please send an email to help@floridaheartsaver.org with your name, contact phone number, course title, and course date.

Certification - Misspelled name

We allow the students to input their own name while registration of the course. We also allow students to verify the proper spelling of the names when they sign in for the class. Please make sure to correct any spelling errors. Once the cards are issued, there will be a $20 charge to correct and resend the certification cards.

Replacement card fee

Replacement cards are $20. Please send us an email to help@floridaheartsaver.org with the following information. Your name, phone number, name of class you took, and the date of the class. Once we verify your information, we will issue a replacement certification.

Shipping address

Certifications are mailed to the address provided during the registration process. (Trainee information) Florida Heartsaver allows the student to verify and correct all information provided to Florida Heartsaver during the sign in process. It is the student's responsibility to make sure the information is correct.

Returned certification to Florida Heartsaver will require the student to call (352) 575-0119 to provide the correct mailing address. There is a $5 processing fee for all returned certifications.
